Chains sometimes have inconsistent food or service delivery, especially as they expand with retail success. This is not the case with The Counter in Reston, VA. It's hard to get a seat quickly at The Counter because it truly is great food. We waited about 30 minutes, and it was well worth the wait. The restaurant serves traditional burgers and other food, as well as the untraditional (salmon burgers?). The food is good, but the place is walled in glass with no noise absorption. If you can catch in when it's not packed, it would be a very good experience. If packed, the food isn't good enough the justify the headache.
