We arrived in Port d'Alcudia around 9 pm on a Saturday nite. Looking for a restaurant can be somewhat confusing since they all seem to serve the same thing. As we walked around, we came upon this restaurant. It was a packed thriving restaurant where many others were slowing down or had very few customers. If a restaurant is packed,... More

Staff were very helpful in advising us how much to order, good job otherwise we would have ordered far too much. Not a lot of chicken based tapas but loads of fish and pork. Efficient service and great atmosphere, very popular so make sure you arrive early or book. We saw queues down the street to get in. More

We are eating here bow as I type this. Lovely tapas place with huge tapas selection in full or half portions. Just don't hit "get directions" in your iPhone as that sent us off in wrong direction. It's in the centre street (busy street) but just off to a side street. A lot of Spanish here which is surely a... More

Firstly to anyone reading this and thinking of going ... to avoid being annoyed by trying to get a table DO NOT just hang around and expect to be approached and offered a table by the waiters. This is not the way it works ... go inside and see the man behind the bar, he controls everything. This place is... More

The best tapas I have ever had! If you get the chance please give this place a try. Don't hang around outside expecting the waiters to give you a table, it's not done that way! Go inside and see the chap behind the bar. No doubt there will be a wait and if that's the case you will get a... More

We have been travelling to Alcudia and Mallorca for the last 14 years. Many restaurants have deteriorated over the last few years, but Ca'n Punyetes stands out to be as excellent as allways. Yes, the prices have gone up, but that's only fair. It's not at all expensive. It's genuine with good service. Tourists tend to want to sit outside... More

The restaurant is usually very busy - the tourists tend to eat a little bit early (around 20:00) but the local residents come as late as 21:30 - 22:00 to have their evening meal. And no wonder they do - the place is busy, full of life and the loveliest Spanish dishes. The first time we visited C'an Punyetes, we... More

Following a recomendation of the Alcudiamar "Botel" receptionists (they go there after work regularly) we found it by walkingstrait into the street opposite the Alcudiamar lead by the biggest shoe store - my wife's navigation reference point ;) - and than take the first right. Simply order some water and the "Monte Haro" Rioja house brand for 7,50€ the bottle.... More
