My husband had a fantastic time tonight! Aside from the romantic atmosphere, good selection in wine, and tasty meal, our waitress made our night a delight. We cannot wait to come back to Norfolk, and enjoy another meal here. Thank you, Ashley--your customer service skills are spectacular!

I guess, this location is either too small or not interested in serving a large group infear of loosing money. I called to make a reservation for the day before my daughters graduation, I was called back and told that our party would be too large so therefore unable to accomodate. Oh well... My rating will be poor...

Stop in for the Thursday night steamed shrimp special before the ODU basketball game. There were 10 of us at the table and the service was very prompt and efficient. The shrimp are a great deal. One pond or half pond meals. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, not over done like most places trying to pump out these types... More

Atmosphere: contemporary, spare, dark wood, Spanish guitar music from the Gypsy Kings; also it's a little easier to find parking at this end of Granby. Food: modern, light touch with pleasantly complementary flavors that are each subtle but remarkable when combined Bodega Simple Salad - house-made marsala vinaigarette extracts additional sweetness from the strawberries and grapes Ceviche - lime marinade... We were in town to see Michael Franti at the Norva and were looking for something not too heavy before the show. (you jump a LOT at his concerts ;-) We had some of the small plates and they were really delicious! The sesame tuna, spanish montado, and curry shrimp and scallops were seasoned and presented well. Service was friendly... More

The food rocks. Amazing Everything. Love the atmosphere and the beer selection. One issue we had was condensation dripping onto us from the ventilation ducts. Crab gnocchi is unreal. Can't miss with this place.

Wednesday nights - 1/2 lb of shrimp (steamed, Old Bay) + their "Simple Salad" (sans the bleu cheese) is a satisfying meal of subtle flavors, fresh product, and reasonable price point - less than $20 with tax and tip, no alcohol on tab. Atmosphere is good, service is great (staff remember your order without writing it down). I'm hooked!

We went to this restaurant in the middle of June. WE loved the food, the chef made a great presentation, the food looked as if it was prepared by one of those Chef on reality shows. The taste of my Paella was outstanding. My pallet truly enjoyed the food. The ambiance was just right. We had our children with us... More

I want to revise my 2009 review. They have greatly improved the draft and bottled beer selections. And of course now it is completely nonsmoking as the law has changed. The fried oyster appetizer was delicious on a recent visit and they have various special prices on some days during happy hour.
