This was our only bad experience of Bonnieux restaurants. Very plain food and poor service. Avoid and go to the other restaurants in town for a better experience.
We both really enjoyed our meal and will go back during this stay and future ones. The food was a little different from the rest and as the menu said ,it was made with love. It's in a lovely spot overlooking the square and out beyond but it was the good flavored food and friendly service that got us. The... More

After a few days in Luberon you might be fed up with the usual menù. At L'heure Bleue you find something different, a revisitation of traditional dishes with some flavour reminding Asia. The result is surprising, as the slightly warm paté de fois gras with peach sauce and peppers (excellent) and the salmon with ratatouille (not so great, I have... More
thanks to you to take time to write about the restaurant. yes it's so true we don't make a special dish for kids only smaller portion, i still thinking kids can eat everything and my politic is not to give kids fries and burger, i prefer to be a piece of taste in their apprenticeship . yes about the price... We had our penultimate and last meals at this restaurant. They were both very enjoyable with some possibly unique dishes. It's very good that the menu changes every day. It's also good that there is an English translation of each dish published outside the restaurant. We sat outside for both meals so had great views of the valley and the... More

We visited here on our first night in Bonnieux, didn't have a table for us, but was told if we came back in 20 mins they would sort something out, which we did and they had. We then had to wait a further 20 mins whilst the staff had a coffee and cigarette. A bit strange, but just thought this... More

best food I had in provence - super great value - 24euros for 3 course - can't beat that. house wine was 6 euros per glass and was decent. chef is asian lady - really friendly - so some food has a little asian twist. Steak was delicious! and starters were the best.
thanks to you to put a advice , so happy you like it, and, thnaks to you to recommended us. some times it's more asian, some times it's more african some times more american, but always with love. hope to see you on you next trip sincerly yoha More
Our group of 3 couples had a wonderful lunch on the terrace at L'heure Bleue - enjoying the special salad, yummy lamb, etc. They offered a nice amuse bouche, every dish was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although they do not offer wines by the carafe (unusual in this area), the suggestion of a bottle of local... More

There are a number of restaurants in Bonnieux and this one is very good with a short but interesting menu, good local wines and very friendly service. The owner is Thai and on the night we went, one of the choices was fish (not named) cooked in paper with a Thai sauce - coconut milk, ginger, lemon grass etc. Unexpected... More
