This is Anne Kirkmyer's room, if you're fortunate to be staying at the H&G when she creates a 4 course dinner as though she was your personal chef. A reservation here is your table for the evening and you can expect a two-plus hour dining experience that is sumptuously wonderful. I must say, I am, or was, not a fan... More

What a terrific little gem! Great breakfasts for those staying at the Inn, and delicious dinners, too. Can't wait to return in warmer weather so we can dine in the garden.

The Hope and Glory has added dinner. We had the rockfish and the entire meal was superb. The breakfasts were all different every morning and were just the thing to start the day. Try the cranberry/orange juice!

We had an excellent meal at the Hope and Glory, which is fixed price for two courses. We had pear salad and a snapper entree (the only choices) Also a very nice Coastal Vines Chardonnay for $28. The dessert was also quite nice.

Refined comfort food - just what is needed for thanksgiving. Breakfast featured a delicious mini cranberry muffin (s) in addition to fruit and egg and spinach souffle, crispy bacon. Set us up perfectly for a days sailing :)

We ate outside the inn our first night in Irvington and wished we'd spent the extra dollars to eat both meals in the dining hall. The food, staff, and ambience was amazing. Everything was to-die-for delicious.

My wife and I ate here when we were staying at the Hope and Glory. The baked oysters were great, along with the jumbo lump crab cakes, all freshly made, which left me wanting a little more at the end of the meal. My wife does not eat oysters and the chef was very willing to accommodate her and made... More

Ann is a great chef. Fresh flavors, not over killed with sauces. Local ingredients were used. The baked oysters were outstanding. The crab cakes were more like lump crab meat instead of a cake. I preferred this. Charming intimate dining room.

Food was great. You get one menu, but I wouldn't have wanted anything else (or anything more I took my dessert to my room). Be sure to make a reservation when you reserve your room.

Fixed menu so be sure to check the web or ask what it is when you make reservations. On the high side price wise. Service was very good and the chef came out to each table at the beginning and end of the meal. It was certainly worth a one-time visit,
