A must to visit. enjoy a meal at the local diner and save room for dessert. wish they had one in upper new York. maybe not us girls need to watch the waistline.

No matter the time of day, the kids wanted to go to the Island Creamery. The homemade ice cream is fantastic and there is a flavor for all tastes. They offer ice cream concoctions but the tried and true cones were the best.

I had the Chocolate Pecan Ice Cream on a recent visit to the Island Creamery. Was it ever good! If you are in Chincoteague you MUST stop in for a taste. Best ice cream around! They are VERY generous with their serving size too.

The ice cream was absolutely delicious! When you get "one scoop" it's actually more like 3-4 large scoops. My husband and I both got single scoops and our bill was $8. I LOVE ice cream and decided to stop at Island Creamery when they opened at 11 AM before we left the area. I am a Mr Whippey fan due to pricing and had to try IC because of the reviews Won't do that again. No low price option for someone just wanting a quick scoop Flavors okay. Not over the top by any means

We stopped at the Island Creamery and what a wonderful surprise! The ice cream was delish...ous. There are plenty of flavors to choose from and lucky for us we were there in April so there were no lines. Definitely worth a try.

We were on vacation, isn't that justification enough to indulge? I had a cone of vanilla butterscotch, he had a cup of black raspberry. SOOOO good, rich, creamy, excellent & a HUGE portion. Luckily we left early in the morning before they were open or I would have been FORCED to go again.
