We have been going to the Blue Moon in downtown Stowe off and on for over 10 years. We just had our anniversary dinner there last week, and it was excellent. It is a very pleasant surprise when one can get soft shell crabs in Vermont! Attentive and professional service and excellent food.

On Christmas eve even with a full restaurant and at short notice the restaurant owner made a space for me to sit down to eat. The food was amazing and I would definitely go back.

The food choices were enticing, but some flavor combinations just didn't work. The staff was attentive, but didn't seem thrilled to be there.

We ate here after arriving in town late. I had the pork chop which the server recommended and I'm glad I did. I would definitely come here again.

This restaurant attempts to be gourmet but the flavor combinations don't work givIng muddled unsavory tastes at expensive prices.... Stowe seems to lack many good dining choices but you would be better off with a hamburger someplace

We ate here twice during the first week of February. We had read that you needed reservations as the place is small but it was such a quiet week that it was unnecessary. We had a nice table by the window, not that there is much to see as you are on a side street in Stowe village. The food... More

We enjoyed a Sat. night dinner here. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was unusual and delicious, although my husband found the gremolata (sp?) on his fish a taste that he didn't like. I enjoyed the vegetarian dish I had and we shared an interesting lentil salad as an appetizer. The Greek dessert we had was memorable and... More

Our dinner at the Blue Moon Café was disappointing. We chose it because most of the reviews here were good. We were seated on time at a nice window table for two. Our waiter was not very personable and could not tell us what was in the vegetable gratin that was the vegetarian option on the menu that night. We... More

By far our best meal in Stowe! The crab cake app was phenomenal and everything we had was beautifully prepared and delicious. Get a reservation for sure because the place can fill up fast.

spouse loves this place more than me. Food quality is excellent, menu changes periodically, great interesting dishes. A little too fancy for me, but again, spouse loves all the interesting dishes.
