Food was superb, service better than outstanding. Any time I go there, I feel like I have been welcomed home!

A full menu with Italian specialties and helpful staff. Everyone found something to like and staff were willing to substitute certain ingredients. Many good desserts, though we couldn't try them all.
The Tratt is a great restaurant, and really the only place in Stowe for *good* Italian food. According to Tony, he's had many years in high-end restaurant situations, and his love for the business and his customers clearly shows. The ragù alla bolognese is the best I've ever had anywhere. After a long day of skiing our favorites at Stowe Mountain Resort, we stopped at Trattoria for an early Friday evening dinner. We were greeted warmly, seated at a fine little table, and served water and bread. Shortly after, the waiter appeared to provide menus and to describe the specials. For being an Italian eatery the food was adequate but we found the ravioli dish to be bland. Service & atmosphere were fine but the food a little dull.

Our favorite current items: The Bosca Salad, whatever soup is being served, the Roast Duck, the Steak, the truffle fries, the tuna carpaccio, the catch...

The food was very good, wine list interesting, service excellent, atmosphere was OK but not great and the price range was reasonable. A good choice for a family and a couple.
Great place, food was spectacular, and the waiter cared more about our happiness than our own mother! Even though we didnt order dessert he sent us home with biscotti, which was a total surprise! On my next trip to Stowe, i willd return foranother great dinner!
Awesome place, well priced, and very popular. Lots of families with kids so no romance but it does have the red and white table cloths, candels, and nice soft music. This truely is a great little restaurant with a very hearty Italian (Northern) cusine leaning...expect large portions so very sharable if you are not a big eater. Great Ceaser salad...

The restaurant is located just slightly out of the Main Street and next door to Topnotch Resort. They start you off with a great salad, which comes from...
