We went here while in town for a wedding. Nice, clean place. Friendly, attentive staff. I started off with a potato soup with corn & ham. It was more like a creamy chowder and was very good. I got the prime rib sandwich special with melted Vermont cheese of course. It came with mayo. It was cooked just right, tasted... More

We ate here primarily because it was mid afternoon and all of the other restaurants were closed. A woman who worked at the Quechee Village recommended but not sure if it was because it was e only place open besides the pizza place down the road. Food was okay. My Beet it salad came with thinly sliced yellow and red... More

Went for lunch with the family while in Quechee Gorge. Food was good and large enough platters to fill up for the day.

My wife and I went here to celebrate our 38th anniversary. The food was outstanding. My wife had a ham and asparagus quiche with salad and I had a toasted ham and cheese and bowl of french onion soup. The food was quite plentiful and delicious. For desert we shared a huge bread pudding with toffee sauce and ice cream.... More

Not much atmosphere. Bright like a cafeteria - in the restaurant and the bar. Need lower level lighting to feel comfortable. Food is OK.

Went to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. The place was completely deserted. Ordered hand cut sweet potato fries, unfortunately burned and seems it was the end of the batch, the pieces were really tiny, almost crumb like. Had spinach salad with crumbled blue cheese, dried cranberries, and Vermont maple balsamic vinagraite, which was great.

Food was good but not great. We had shepard's pie, grilled cheese with avocado and pesto, a black and blue burger, beet and goat cheese salad and tomato bisque. My grilled cheese was very tasty, but sloppy. The beet salad was excellent and my son loved the burger and french fries which had a bit of herb on them. The... More

The Shepard's Pie doesn't look like much from the outside, and the inside wasn't fancy. However, the staff was wonderfully friendly and the food was good. The turkey dinner was fantastic - thick slices of turkey breast that looked and tasted like it had just been sliced off of the bird. Portions were large and satisfying. They even had a... More

Lots of food but low in taste. Over $50 for 2 - expensive for the quality of the meal. Captive market - next to the Quality Inn. Husband had Shepard's Pie - ordinary. I had the "traditional" turkey dinner. My plate was heaped with a pile of sliced turkey (not roast but prepared), a pile of of cranberry sauce, and... More

This place will always have customers thanks to the hotel next door but I was definitely not impressed. We went on a Monday night, a bit after 7pm. We had camping reservations across the street and didn't feel like cooking a very late dinner for ourselves. My husband ordered the shepards pie that the restaurant was named for. It was... More
