We had dinner for 4 on a Friday. The service and food were excellent, and the wine, the house Chardonnay, was really superb. Dessert, a sampler of their specialties, was also great. A really nice place in a small, charming town.

Folks come from miles to enjoy a meal here. Lunches are quite affordable, while, for me, a dinner here is a treat. The staff is professional, and you should expect exceptional service.
I have eaten several times at Cafe Provence over the last few years and previously submitted a good review for the restaurant. However, my last two visits have demonstrated to me that things aren't what they used to be and standards of cooking and service are definitely slipping.

The atmosphere is very nice, the food is very good but the portion are to big.It could be very noisy at time but my quests love it and that very important for them. Nice choice of wines and desserts.

My wife and I have eaten lunch and diner at this restaurant over the past 2 years and the food and service has always been excellent. They are very attentive to any special food needs wether allergies or other.
Visited on several occasions in the evening, during the week and at weekend. Good menu, good food, sometimes service can be a little haphazard.
I stopped in for lunch and the service was incredibly slow. I literally had to stand up and find the waitress several times to get attention. The food was good - not great - and the ambience was probably marred by the fact that the restaurant itself was quite cold. I would probably go back but I am not recommending...

It is inventive enough to be very exciting, but maintains a broad appeal. Highly recommended. Also, get dessert!
Visited again during our vacation to take some friends out for dinner as a 'Thank You'. Early on Friday evening and the restaurant was busy but not packed. We waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken, another 30 minutes for the salads to arrive and about 30 to 40 minutes for the main courses. If the restaurant was...
