After hearing reviews from family who had been to Gun Barrel, I was able to visit recently and experience this restaurant for myself. All in all, I was very pleased with the visit. Food: This is a restaurant specializing in cuts of meat, both beef and also other eccentricities such as buffalo and elk. I ordered the mixed grill (elk... More

We came here for dinner after hiking at Zion so maybe we were just really hungry, but everything here was awesome! The bread seemed like homemade. They had a prime rib special that night. Not something I usually order due to high fat, but as I said--we were starving! I have to say that prime rib was some of the... More

We have enjoyed this restaurant every time we go to St. George! The food is unique and delicious. Elk, buffalo, pork and beef. They also have some chicken and different fish, so there is a lot of variety and it ALL tastes wonderful! The service has always been great, too, as they are friendly and try very hard to please.

Service was OK and food matched the service. My wife and I were disappointed in the flavor of the steaks--a bit bland. All in all, it was good, but not great.

Really nice ambiance, great for professional dinners or romantic dates. It's just lovely and the food is always on point. Great menu and good quality for the price.

We try to eat here every time we are in St George. We normally don't eat at steakhouses because steaks is the one thing I can make easily at home, but the Gun Barrel serves Elk and Buffalo, something not easily found elsewhere. The atmosphere in the restaurant reminds you of a game lodge. My favorite dish is the velvet... More

The service was good. Nice bread with salads. The halibut special for the night was good but $28 which seemed high. Tuesday special was half rack of ribs, tender meat but little too much sauce, no usual sides associated with bbq.

We spent a week in St George at a condo so prepared most of our dinners there. But, we did go to the Gun Barrel & Steak House one night. I had made a reservation on line so there was no wait. Dinner was very good - from the service to the food. My husband loves game food & had... More

Got a table right away on a Friday night. Waitress was rude and slow and not what we expected from such an expensive restaurant. I got the buffalo prime rib and the hubs got buffalo ribs. Both dishes were at least 30% fat and not that good edible kind like most prime rib and ribs. It was way too expensive... More

We had a 45 minute wait to be seated by a rude hostess. The service was sub-par and the food was equivalent to hospital cafeteria food. The $80 bill for two was the only over-the-top thing served here.
