We had well prepared, nicely presented, very tasty meals served in a delightful Gulf Coast outdoor atmosphere. Have eaten all up and down the Texas Gulf Coast in plain and "fancy" restaurants and this ranks with the best of them.

The service was horrible. Our glasses were never refilled, not even once. We were never checked on. The food was ice cold and the crab cakes were filled with crab shells. This was a terrible disappointment for food that was $30 a plate. Bottom line, terrible food and service.
Pricey and the place needs a facelift. We ate upstairs, big mistake. The waitstaff were rarely on the floor, instead they were downstairs waiting for the food and drink orders. The food was good, but the occasion hardly memorable. I probably wouldn't eat there again, I would try the many other restaurants in Port Aransas.
Food was good and some unique dishes. I particularly liked the pan fried oysters. We ate upstairs which I wouldn'tj recommend. The poor waitstaff spend so much time up and down the stairs that they have no time time to attend the customers. They should invest in a dumb waiter or have runners to bring the food and drinks up....

And other red flags.
My dining companion ordered flounder. When it arrived it was obvious it was NOT flounder; the piece of fish was about 3 or 4 inches thick. He obviously was served a different fish. The waiter was in disbelief. Apparently he has never seen flounder.
This was unfortunate as I always enjoyed eating at Beulah's, in spite...

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon dinner at The Pelican Club. It was a but overpriced in my opinion, but it was very good. The service was absolutely great. Completely enjoyed it and we will return.

The Pelican Club has amazing food and a great bar. The seafood is so fresh. You will pay a bit for the fabulous food, but it is worth it,. There is a great sushi bar as well. The restaurant is on the water. There is an upstairs dining area.. But do not go for that... Wait for a table downstairs....
