The smothered pork chops, beef brisket and sausage were out of this world great! Loved the fresh, homemade bread and the red velvet cake! We dined on the patio overlooking the Guadalupe River. Staff friendly.

The breakfast buffet was excellent as usual and had their huge cheese block that you serve yourself with. This restaurant is quiet early in the morning (9:00) if you enjoy an atmosphere such as this. Once we found this restaraunt we have not gone any where else for breakfast.
Great location and view of the Guadalupe River. You can dine inside or out. We enjoyed the exterior dining. Buffet setup is good and bar is well stocked. Friendly staff and beautifull building
The breakfast sausage is made by their own butcher and is very good. The family photos on the wall showing the rather large family as children and then as adults is a nice touch
I loved the food, extremely large portions for very reasonable prices, definitely would go back. Food was very good and I know they have an amazing buffet as well!!
Stopped by for lunch, fresh cooked vegetables, corn, green beans, cabbage, carrots, large salad bar with lots of toppings, pea salad, carrot salad, several soups to choose from, and the desserts. We tried peach cobbler and buttermilk pie.

Had Sunday afternoon meal here with family and friends while visiting the area.

Today's lunch was a surprise and a pleasure. Yes, they can handle tourists (and they do), but the buffet was full and fresh (fried chicken, meat...
