Simple Menu...good food. cute atmosphere. We like to support the locals and stay away from the chains. This place was very enjoyable to sit down and relax, get your sweet tea (beverage of choice around these parts second to beer) and order home cooked meals. The crab cakes were HUGE!

Stumbled across this place while visiting Kilgore recently, the manager at the hotel I was staying at recommended this place so I decided to give it a try. Nanny goats is a quaint little cafe in downtown Kilgore. Had the pork chops special and it was simply delicious. Great service and great ambience!

Loved my visit to what appears as a quaint hole in the wall..they are doing well as they have expanded to longview...so, obviously others approve as well. Good job! Home town folks!

Owners are great, food is great, great atmosphere and central location in downtown Kilgore. They make a great margarita, too! Try the chicken fried steak. It's the best I've had since Big T's closed its doors. : )
