When we are flying down to the Caribbean, Pappadeaux is the first stop on our vacation. The margaritas are cold and strong. The seafood is fresh. Service friendly and fast. I can't imagine a vacation without this place as part of it.

I went on Mothers Day and it got busy and we kinda got neglected by the waitress. We had to ask for water several times and it took a while to get it.
I was served a crab with no cracking utensil or the proper fork.
The staff was friendly so I am thinking if you go on a non...

Having recently spent a weekend in Louisiana, I didn't expect to have my best Cajun meal of the trip in Houston airport. Tried the chef's recommendation - blackened mahi with dirty rice at $25: worth every cent. The Key Lime Pie was excellent, as were the pre-night flight margueritas.
Best airport meal I've ever had. The service was superb, as...

They have excellent fondue as an appetizer. It can be a meal in itself. I been here on many dates and enjoyed various cuisines. They tend to be out of certain menu items and it can be frustrating, but they'll work with you nicely on that problem.
Went there for a business dinner. Good value. Food would have warranted a 4, but the dining area was so noisy that it was difficult to impossible to carry on a conversation. And it wasn't a particularly busy evening. Not what we expected.
When inside Bush International Airport in Houston, it is worth taking the train and walking even from Terminal A to Terminal E for this delightful restaurant. The menu is great, portions very generous, service with a smile and food is delicious. Should you be in a hurry there is even a buffet.
Testimony to its popularity are the large number...

While traveling with friends (3 couples), we had a few hours to kill in the Houston Airport. It was mid-afternoon, and some of us were hungry; others not at all. Not only were we able to obtain a table for 6 with a relatively short wait, the staff was very patient with us and our mixed bag of orders.

I visited Pappadeaux's on Saturday, May 4th with 2 friends. We arrived at about 7:30. We were told our wait would be 45 minutes, but I think we only waited for about 20-30 minutes. Our waiter was very friendly. I ordered the Seafood Platter and it was delicious! I especially loved the stuffed crab. It was definitely some of the...

The good is really good, but I am surprised that a chain this large does not have any published nutritional information -- not even calories! I contacted the corporate office and was told they don't do that.
