I love going to Old Hickory! The food is simply delicious and The service is outstanding!! I went there on my birthday, anniversary and when my family comes and visit :) Make sure you try the Lobster Bisque and the Kettle corn Ice cream when you go!!!

You are in Texas. Steakhoues are abundant. Old Hicory is one of the better ones. If you are staying at Gaylor Texan, it certainly is a good choice. The food didn't wow me but experience was acceptable.

Again - You don't have to ever leave the Gaylord Texan Resort - the Old Hickory is one of the best steak houses I've ever eaten at in Dallas...and....I've been traveling to Dallas for 20 years. (and there are a "ton" of excellent steak houses in Dallas-Ft Worth) .. this is one of my favorites.

The steaks are awesome and so is the place itself. Located inside the Gaylord Texan, this restaurant is one of the best places to eat a great steak. The bread and also the veggies are delightful.

A very pleasant surprise within the Gaylord Grapevine is the Old Hickory. Judging from the crowded dining area, it is not exactly a secret. It is "medium" expensive but worth it. Gorgeous interior and beautiful views. an attentive and knowledgable staff caters to every need. The cheese plate is AMAZING and worth every penny with personalized selection. Wine list is dreamy but the Argentinian Malbec complimented our dinner better than a dream. A wonderful Sunday evening escape!
