Next to Dixie's Donuts and across the highway from g.v.e.c. Seated ourselves for lunch, parking lot full but plenty of tables. Prompt service and tasty, plentiful portions for a reasonable price. We will eat here again!

My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Great food along with great service and GREAT MEXICAN FOOD!!!! Keep it up!!
We visited here with friends, and were delighted with the service level and quality of the food. As we are not experts by any means on Mexican food, we didn't know what to expect, but helpful advice was given. We will go there again.
This mexican restaurant is HORRIBLE!!! We had come in about 5 PM and if you weren't of Anglo descent, you were not getting service, AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Our server, Susie was rude grumpy and crancky! THe food was horrible, service was horrible, so don do it!!!
I had the plate with an enchilada and tamale. It was covered with a terrible sauce, and I couldn't eat it. My husband asked for charro/baraccho beans, and got refried. The good thing was that it came with three tortillas, but they were burned! That is too bad since that is my favorite, especially if served with a pad of...

Had the soft beef tacos. Not certain how something so very bland could result in such "distress" within the next 30 minutes but it did.
Usually locally owned eateries have great service. This was an exception. We were there at least 5 minutes before we even saw any staff. Another customer saw us come in and suggested we go ahead...

This place was recommended to us. Nothing special inside, just another mexican restaurant. I had the Chalupas and they were just OK and would have giving them a 3 however my friend had their Empanada's and raved about more with each bite. lol Also the red sauce was great! My friend asked for the green sauce and found it very...

Had a hard time finding a place for 10 people to meet before a funeral. This may be the best place in Gonzales, it was packed every time we went by. Service was slightly slow (but they were packed). Food was reasonably priced, maybe not the best Mexican food I ever had, but a good value and a place where...

I love their homemade tortillas. Fill it with ham or bacon, potatoes and cheese and I'm in breakfast heaven. They also have typical breakfast which includes refried beans. If you're in Gonzales for breakfast this is a great place to eat. Their salsa is great too! They have a drive through window. They now serve alcoholic drinks and are open...

This place has a vast menu and some great deals on Mexican food. I had the 3 Taco Plate and the puffy taco was my favorite. Be sure to ask what the specials of the day are.
