We spent a lot of time running around the Strand, and checked out a few restaurants before settling on this place, as the menu looked good and reasonably priced. The lobster bisque was to die for. Excellent atmosphere, service and outstanding food.

This restaurant has a cool ocean feel atmosphere. My friend and I were exploring Galveston yet again from Houston and was looking for a great lunch stop near post office area. When were arrived the hostess set us at a table even though they closed at 2pm and reopen for dinner. The waitress knew the menu very well and even...

The bacon wrapped scallops are wonderful and we liked the chilean sea bass and steaks are great also. Make sure and order the chocolate souffle it is well worth the wait .
We chose this place as a last resort when the two other places we wanted to try were closed on a Sunday evening. The server suggested the specials of the night and I chose the ribeye. I was very pleased. The reduction sauce was to die for. Of course after the wonderful asparagus and crab meat appetizer , I was...

We walked in for dinner on a Tuesday night and the place was empty. Dont know why because we all agreed for a business dinner that it was the best food ever!
This is a nice restaurant in the downtown area. I ordered one of the specials, parmesan crusted redfish. The display of it was very beautiful, and the fish was very tender, but it was very bland tasting. The other people I was with ordered steaks that were also specials for the day, and I got I got a bite of...

Owned by the same people as the Gumbo Bar but a fancier and nicer place to eat. Nice bar area. Can be crowded. Get a reservation. The food is very good, but not up to excellent. Needs more selections. Nice atmosphere. Small but nice place.
We loved this place! The food was divine - the "tuna tower" got raves and the fresh fish is just perfect. Service was great, our server was very helpful with making choices. Prices were reasonable. You might need reservations on the weekend but during the week you will get right in.
Don't go. We were referred there from the hotel staff. Steak is marginal. Lobster is tough. Service is okay, but seriously....save your money.
We welcomed a new member to our business team by taking them to Saltwater Grill in Galveston. We had a group of 10 so they gave us a little room to the side. The service was great, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was the best part. The only tough part is we set the bar very high for...
