Went to this place to do a tasting and they don't have a tasting room. They only sell wine by the glass and it is all out of state and foreign wines. No local wines. Disappointment.

We had a glass of wine here after dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't very crowded, but I really enjoyed the ambiance and comfy seating. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable about their wine.

After a day of tasting and shopping, this place was a welcome respite! Great NON-TEXAS wine and interesting music. Friendly, knowledgeable staff to recommend some great wine!

Fredericksburg has multiple places to have a glass of wine in. And House Wine is no different in the pricing of said wine. $15 seems to be a standard price for any proprietor which recommends a glass. I ended up getting a decent glass of pinot grig which I believe came in around $9 ish. One thing is if you... More

We spent a wonderful evening at House.Wine. We stopped in to have a glass of wine to escape the Texas heat and wound up staying for 3-4 hours. They had live music playing that was not country. They also had beer in addition to wine. The atmosphere was great and very laid back. They told us that we could purchase... More

After an afternoon of wine tasting, touring, shopping, and dinner, we were walking out of Auslander to our car to go back to our room when we heard the sound of live music, and turned back to see where it came from. We stumbled into a little piece of wine-music heaven! An extremely talented jazz quartet (The Lampshades) was playing,... More

My friend and I stumbled upon this place while shopping in Fredericksburg. The front has a very nice home decorating store with great candles and the back is a wine bar. They have a large variety of wines that changes often. The bartenders are knowledgeable enough that you can tell them what you're in the mood for and they can... More

We were in town for a wedding and just happened to stop in this great little wine shop. They have a great selection of wines, the staff was extremely helpful and a perfect place to stop have a bite and taste some wines. We went back before we left to buy a few more bottles! A little modern and chic... More

After a day of sightseeing and shopping in Fredericksburg, we stopped in for a glass of wine at House Wine! There was a nice amount of people already there, and we were able to be seated immediately! The friendly bartender, Amy, was very knowledgeable and easily determined which wines we would most enjoy! House Wine is not a wine tasting... More
