Wait staff too busy visiting with one table (friends?). After 35-minutes waiting for food we left. No update or attempt by wait staff to keep us posted. Highly disappointed.
I'm a local and wanted to try the breakfast based on a friend's recommendation. I'll start by saying the place is nicely decorated, 50's diner style but not at all garish, very tasteful. The place was packed, but we got a booth quickly. Service was good, not overly attentive, but we didn't lack for anything. So far, so good. Sadly... More

Six of us flew down for lunch on a beautiful day. This is a hopping diner on the weekend and we were lucky to get a table together. The salad I had was full of chicken, bacon, avocado- perfect. Two had Rubens and seemed to enjoy them. Two had breakfast and the plates were licked clean. Well worth the visit-... More
I can't review, as I never got to actually eat there. We went at lunch time on a Sunday based on others' recommendations. Big mistake. It's tiny, there were six of us and it's on a "first-come" basis. So they seated the couple who was in line before us at the only six-topper. It would have been an hour wait... More
Love the atmosphere ..the food was not real good but not terrible. Based only on breakfast. I think it must be better at times because people flew their small planes in to eat reakfast
Lunch was great and the view of personnel airplanes was a plus. Wait staff was courteous and attentive. Had the special open chicken sandwich with seasoned fries and tea. It included desert-peach cobbler with ice cream--what a treat !!! Wife had a chicken wrap which she enjoyed. We returned the next day with family for an outstanding breakfast.
Food was mediocre at the very best, although sitting on the airport runway was cool. Their menu is mostly sandwiches, so you would think they would be great...the reuben was soggy, tasteless and utterly undistinguished.
Get there early so you can grab a booth seat overlooking the runway. The coffee stays hot and the milkshakes are cold. Service is with a smile and the food is fantastic. This might be the best little diner I've experienced. If you don't have a pancake you are doing yourself a disservice. It's not served family style, but I'd... More
Wonderful food and fantastic atmosphere! My husband enjoyed the bomber burger which was just perfect. I had their rendition of the Ruben and it was outstanding. Shakes for desert all while watching 25 planes fly in and out of the airport =)
