I had been traveling all day and did not want fast food or fancy food. I went to Founders Grill and had the most amazing Grilled Chicken, salad and a baked potato which was perfect! It was a fun atmosphere. I ate at the bar and met another traveler. The experience was fun and the food was great!

I visited Founders Grill twice because I was staying at the Hotel Lawrence, where Founders is located. I had a great burger and an excellent Deep Ellum Brewing Co beer while sitting at the bar. The bar tender was friendly and greeted me the next day remembering what kind of beer I liked and offering me a new one. Founders... More

The décor is slightly tired but the food and service were fine. A stone's throw from Union Station and about five minutes' walk from the Omni.

I am not normally a fan of buffet meals for a variety of reasons; however, the lunch buffet at Texas Spice is an exception to the rule. The food is freshly prepared from the local markets and features many healthy selections. The variety of salads and vegetable dishes keeps me coming back. The meat courses are well seasoned and healthy.... More

The food was good but the prices can be a bit pricey considering the type of hotel that it is attached to. The hotel at best is no more than a 2-3 star hotel attached to a restaurant that seems to have prices of a 3-4 star hotel restaurant. The restuarant is convienient for patrons staying at the attached hotel... More

My father stayed at the Lawrence Hotel where this place is located. The food was good, the cost was a bit $$. We where a party of five and they automatically added the tip.

My daughter and I ate here on a Saturday night when we stayed at the Hyatt. It completely surpassed my expectations. My daughter got the fillet and it was a great cut of steak. It is every bit as good as a Morton's or Capital Grille steak at a much better price (but without the ambiance). I had a chicken... More

The Founders Grill is attached to the Hotel Lawrence where I was staying. The atmosphere is acceptable and the food is average quality. The bar is somewhat limited. They didn't have any single malt scotch. The service is average.

A group of us were on a business trip to downtown Dallas at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. We did not have cars so decided to walk for dinner and went to Founders. One thing that surprised me was that they had no draft beer at all, not even local brews. Another was high prices, like $19 for a Cesar Salad... More

Great food but crappy crappy service. Our bartender complained about working at the restaurant to the other bartender and would be on his cell phone texting when he wasn't complaining.
