We have eaten all over the U.S. and in numerous countries but one of the best meals we have ever had is at Bonterra Blu. If you go (and you should) when making your reservation as for the "FEED ME". You will be surprised all evening by various dishes the chef sends out to you. We didn't taste one that... More

This small restaurant in a small sleepy pecan tree shaded village is on the right side of the track and on the right track to greatness. The New Orleans trained chef prepares West Texas fare with a French/Cajun flair that delights the senses and satisfies the palette. Bring your own alcoholic beverage and reservations are required.

In Clyde, Texas next to the Dollar General is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. It is hard to believe but it is true. When making reservations ask for the "feed me" and let the chef surprise you with each course. Certainly one of the best meals in West Texas.

I don't want to rant...I wanted to like this place and we repeatedly tried BUT at every turn they missed the mark...front of house is clueless to the point of rude. This is all fake! They are playing at something...what? Only they know for sure, maybe they started out with a clear understanding and got lost along the way? The... More

Love the decor. The food is wonderful and the prickly pear lemonade to die for.

I know; I know it's unbelievable that this wonderful gourmet restaurant is in the small, West Texas town of Clyde (On I-20, just east of Abilene)! Food and service could not have been better in this small, intimate setting. From appetizer to dessert, a delight to the eye and the taste buds. It is a very special place for any... More

I've been to Bonterra Blu several times, and it is always good. Love the choice if entrees and small plate/appetizers. Make a reservation because it is always busy. You might think you are in the big city when you walk into a funky chick place like this, but it is right on the main street in Clyde, Texas.

Bonterra Blu is tucked away in the little bitty town of Clyde, Texas, about 18 miles east of Abilene off of I-20. As stated on their website the "West Texas Nouvelle Cuisine prepared by Chef Joel Trueblood & Chef Steve Howard" is a combination of Cajun, Creole and Southwestern dishes with a Texas-style touch. Every dish my husband and I... More
