Food was fresh with home made soups and breads. Bakery was outstanding. Flipped pies were yummy. Recommend the bar-b-que sandwich. Melts in your mouth!

Stopped this morning on the way to San Antonio, for a pastry and coffee at the Bear Moon Bakery. It had been a couple of years and I was sure my memory of the great pastries was inflated. Nope - they were still just wonderful. I had the Black Forest Scone - a great scone with dark chocolate chips and...

The service was great! The guy at the glass case was fun and entertaining:) All of the bakery choices were yummy:) We ordered to eat there and some to take back to the hotel.. If we ever come back in town this place is a must!
Bakery is to die for. Breakfast menu is a little pricey. Don't expect a 2.99 grand slam . Wait staff were friendly and helpful.
We went to breakfast here and decided to have the buffet. We were very disappointed at the lack of variety. Eggs one style, only oatmeal as a choice of cereal, and overall the quality was not fresh, too long sitting in the heating pans. For $10.99 plus coffee, it was a not worth the money.
If you are a tourist, you should go there. Locals tend to stay away since there are so many tourists inside and out. Ten years ago the pastries were fresh and reasonably priced.
Very good lunch and they have vegetarian selections. Very popular as it fills up fast for lunch. Spoke to the owner about providing pies for a wedding and he was very accommodating.
We just stopped in hoping for a root beer float--and they fixed us up. We did not have any food but the place was so nice we wanted to write this review. It is a neat beuilding wiht character. Lots of windows so it is light inside with views of the street. The waitress was so perky and nice--she seemed...

On our way to vist the Cave Without a Name, we stumbled across the Bear Moon and had a fabulous buffet breakfast, with great friendly service. We were visiting from Seattle and were treated extremely well considering we are "Northerners". We received excellent directions that got us to our cave destination, which made helped immensely. We would come back in...

We came here at the recommendation of the front desk staff of the hotel we were staying at. Great service, but was surprised at the price for the breakfast buffet. Seemed a little overpriced (almost $11 for an adult trip to the buffet), but they did have quite a bit of variety on the buffet.
