They are closed for the winter again, however after talking to the owners of the gift shop, it may re-open in the spring as a ice cream shop only. Very disappointing that they couldn't make it work as the food was outstanding. May do a future review if it does reopen.

Quite honestly this cafe is better than the store it is attached to, but unfortunately that is not saying much. The food is nothing but ordinary, and I would recommend staying away from their barbecue, if you appreciate real barbecue. Very unusual texture, like it had extenders added to it or something. The brisket was ok, but not worth the... More

We have been coming to Tennessee for about 10 years ago. We were going to stop here last year but it was closed, so we saw that it was opened and stopped this time. The pork was ok, but dry . It said it came on a kaiser roll, but this was served on a plain old hamburger bun that... More

We wanted something that was fun, local and pure Tennessee. We've passed this place a dozen times and never thought to stop. I'm so glad we did. Our meals were huge, tasty, inexpensive; and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. The cafe was clean and it was well worth the stop; the country store next door was... More

We own a cabin in Piegon Forge, and we try and frequent local eateries to better make recommendations to our guests. On our way to Cades Cove, we stumbled upon this cafe, found off of the beaten path. The cafe is adjacent to a lovely country store that offered homemade fudge and samples of delicious jams, salsas, etc.... The cost... More

Best BBQ I've ever had!! We also had the chicken salad sandwich which is to die for, if you love it like I do. Great food, very nice owners, very clean, and wonderful service, and great Value!! We loved it so much we ate there twice during our stay! A little off the main areas in pigeon forge, but well... More

First off the store is great but the restaurant is nothing worth trying. The burgers were over priced for the size well it at least sounded big. The wedge fries were good but again barely any. The blt's had only 3 slices of bacon, the salad Sandwhich was ok but maybe one ice cream scoop of meat. The potato salad... More

I travel all over the country, and I am usually hunting a great barbecue place while I am there. I am usually let down. Most barbecue Joints are just average. My wife and I even visit barbecue joints that are featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, but we are usually let down. We visited Jacks in Nashville, and Martins, south... More

So good. The pulled pork was delicious and the brisket was wonderful. The pork was served on a hot toasted bun and the brisket was served on a great bakery roll. There was outside eating but the dining area had large screened windows which made for an outside feel. We took sandwiches home for dinner! The husband and wife team... More

This beef brisket sandwich was fantastic, as was the pulled pork. Super tasty, super moist. I would recommend this on to anyone. The meat is super tender and smoky-flavorful. You don't even need the sauce, but that too is tasty.
