Wonderful pub, menu has a great variey,with very reasonable pricing, all our dishes were beautifully presented and tasted great, especially the sticky date pudding! Staff were attentive and service was excellant. Highly recommended.

Eaten here several times over the last few months. Front bar looks dodgy, but the bistro area very nice. Qualityof food is very good and reasonably priced. Good sized portions.

We tried to eat here twice on our stay, both times it was booked out. On our tird attempt, we went aftera meal elsewhere for desert and just got a booth seat, it was still packed at 9pm..so book early! Revisited the Grand recentley following the new ownership and what a wonderfull suprise. Food and service are great, meals are good sizes and staff are polite and helpful. Nice and central in Portarlington.

We have always enjoyed the food here. The Lamb Shoulder melts in your mouth and the sharing plate for two is mammoth, full of antipasto, cheeses and dips and served with crusty bread. Really lovely on a summers day. The service has always been efficient and friendly.
