We stumbled upon T.H.Roberts on a rainy day in Dolgellau. The atmosphere was great atmosphere, coffee was excellent, tea fine and the lemon meringue pie was stunning - if you prefer it tart rather than sweet. Well worth a visit!

Popped in for afternoon tea after getting drenched on the Precipice Walk. Glad we did, most unusual, fascinating building and interior with some original fittings from the mining era. Very generous helpings of food, staff really friendly. Free WIFI included. Highly recommended.
Just had a great coffee and panini whilst having a break whilst out on my motorcycle. Service was friendly and the coffee and food were excellent. Thank you
A fantastic and unusual place. Loved everything about this place, including the friendly advice given to my son facing the choice of a huge range of milkshakes! The coffee was great and the cake delicious, amazing interior to the cafe with a history and unique appearence. I only wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely go back when...

Great ambience - character - not like a boring chain coffee shop Great savoury & sweet food - homemade & generous portions Great staff- friendly and very efficient Need we say more - our favourite place in Dolgellau
I love cheese scones. I love the chese scones here! The coffee is great too. The old style shelves and large wooden counters are complimented by comfy seating. For those who need the modern touch, there is free wi-fi and power for your laptop/tablet. A super spot and a "must visit" place when in Dolgellau.
Real home made cakes etc,the owner can often be seen coming out of the kitchen with a bowl cradled in her arm beating something. The range of Coffee and Teas is amazing, The service is friendly with an anxious to please attitude. The atmosphere is wonderful, almost tangible, very warm and inviting. Wonderful old building, very interesting it had been a...

We then had fresh homemade scones with homemade fruit jam. It tasted so good. Everything here is made fresh and the cakes are incredible. We bought...

We regularly go to this cafe. The food is fab and the cakes wonderful, such large portions. You can check e-mails , read papers and play games. It is always warm and friendly even if we can't speak the lingo, we understand it . See you again soon.
