I first visited Corky's a few years ago. There was standing room only, and a long line outside. In the lobby there were 3" cockroaches crawling on the walls! I didn't freak out, and we ate there anyways. I don't know if we consumed anything that we shouldn't have, but the food was absolutely delicious. I went back a couple... More

WE ate here 2 nights out of 2. It was amazing. EVERYTHING was excellent, the staff is delightful, we had Mss Ann who could not have been any funnier or warmer. The food is OUTSTANDING and this place is so worth it.

The food was excellent. We happened to stay at the Hampton inn Poplar, which was right across the street and were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Be sure to try the wet and dry BBQ. Highly recommended.

Though now a chain - the BBQ is consistently good here. Easy to sit at the bar if you are traveling alone - no hassle if you are a woman.

Went to the original location; very crowded but moved quickly and you can try out their own been while you wait. Ribs were great-get the dry ones and the service was wonderul. Really a fun relaxed place to go.

We had this restaurant recommended by a police officer on Beale Street. The drive to it was longer than we really wanted and parking was limited, but we managed to get a space as a customer was leaving. We were seated promptly, I ordered the Half Pound Pulled Pork Dinner @ $8.99. It came with tasty BBQ baked beans, cole... More

Went there for a business lunch with colleagues. The servers were nice and helpful, food came out quick and our group raved about their dishes. I loved my chicken sandwich and our plates looked like the sahara desert when they were returned.

We wanted to try Memphis BBQ and this was recommended. The place was packed. The meat was tender (pork and ribs). Service was good. Location was easy to find.

The disappointment started as soon as I sat down and ordered a gin and tonic. They only serve beer!!! The ribs were a let down. Thought they would be falling off the bone...but sad to say I had to pull them off the bone. The service was wonderful, prompt and friendly. Will not recommend Corky's to anyone. It was just... More

We had heard that going to Corky's was a must. I have to say this was one of the worst BBQ meals I have eaten. The brisket was hard, dry and like it had been sitting, then heated in a microwave. The hushpuppies were spicy and just not good, too much dough flavor.
