This is a cool little restaurant and bar near the University of Memphis. They actually have old beauty shop dryer chairs for some of the chairs! There is a good wine list, and the food is very good. One of my favorite restaurants in Memphis. The food is always superb and the staff is fun and playful. I eat there at least once a month.

the restaurant is a cool place to dine. Sit in one of the glass booths and soak up the history of memphis. Great food. Fun menu. Go!

As others have said, in an old beauty shop with the booths still intact. Great atmosphrere and very good food/wine. Menu has something for everyone. Waitress was exceptional. Great place to go for a date or bring the whole family.

I went to the Beauty Shop one cold, rainy day for lunch. This made the crowd small and I was able to choose where I wanted to sit. Of course I sat at one of the old dryer seats.
