Great food, good prices, large servings even for the small orders, friendly welcoming people, and a cozy relaxed setting. The chef makes it to each table to talk to his customers. A big guy with a big personality who really makes you welcome. My wide and I have had the catfish, shrimp and fried oyster po'boys, gumbo and crawfish étouffée.... More

For months, I have been hearing about DeJAVU from friends and co-workers, but only got the chance to stop by today. It won't be my last visit. The services is super-outstanding! We were treated like beloved family from the moment we opened the front door. The food was delicious, serve fresh and hot, and without a lengthy wait. Chef/Owner Gary... More

Had lunch after our Graceland tour. It's a little hole in the wall, but just wonderful inside. The owner came and chatted with us while we waited for our food. Seating is limited, and we shared a table with father and son. It's a charming little place, open 11-3. The food was just wonderful, true Cajun food. Pretty diverse menu.... More

Food was great, the people working there are very nice, too. We were in New Orleans before and we could eat such a delicious cajun food there, so we were very happy to try the Deja Vu. The chef has a picture with David Bowie. Was a little crowded and not that fast, but it was not a problem.

My boyfriend and I were passing through Memphis and had enough time to stop at Graceland and a restaurant. I found Deja Vu on Tripadvisor and my boyfriend being from Louisiana is a big creole/cajun food snob so the great reviews had us very excited to try the food. We met the owner and his lovely wife, Toni who are... More

My fiance and I was down in Memphis for Memphis in May, we were down there from May 16th-20th. We were trying to find a great seafood place to eat. I looked at tripadvisor like I always do and Deja Vu was ranked # 2 so we decided to give it try. The place is really small and the neighborhood... More

Went to the Deja Vu with my sister and the service was outstanding. We had the gumbo and they give you a lot. It was very tasty and filling. We sat with a local couple and had a good conversation with them. Although the place is small, I think this is what makes the atmosphere unique and relaxing.

This place is tiny, but, the food is big! We waited for a table and they asked my husband and I if we minded sitting with another couple. Of course! Let's eat! The food is amazing! I got Big Keith's Bayou Classic with tilapia. The shrimp and crawfish were so fresh and tender. Everyone at the table loved the food.... More

I finally went to Deja Vu after hearing so much about it. I was not disappointed. Wow, a place in Memphis where vegans and non vegans have so many choices. I love it when Chef Gary comes to talk to all of the customers and I love eating local. The service was great and I loved the pasta primavera. I'm... More

I gave eaten at déjà vu many times and it has become my favorite. Chef Gary and his wife run a great place. Food is outstanding. Every meal I have had had been delicious. I enjoyed the blackened fish and pasta. The bananas foster cheesecake is worth the trip. I understand that Gary is opening another place on south main... More
