Description: Welcome to Puckett’s! Founded in the fifties, people have been congregating at Puckett’s for over a half a century. We’ve updated a bit, added some recipes from our family and friends, and thrown in some great live music. But it’s still Puckett’s Grocery... nothing too fancy, but everything good. It’s where the locals go for real food, real people and real fun.Consider Puckett’s for private party rentals and catering needs.

Great service, great food, fun atmosphere, reasonable prices. Can't get better than that. The menu had lots of options and they have a daily special. Some evenings (maybe all?) they have someone on stage starting about 7:00. This is a local favorite. There are lots of families and locals "meeting up." So much more fun to eat someplace unique like... More

Went to Puckett's primarily to see the band, The Willies. They were great. And what a great place to see music and eat. Very broad menu from steak to barbecue to chicken fried steak. Don't miss the fried green beans and fried green tomatoes appetizers. Very good food, great band, great time.

Total lack of management. Would not advise eating at this establishment. The Matredee tells you 25 minutes, then 60 minutes later, his response will be, "Uhh..." This was the second worst service ever imposed upon this trip-advisor reviewer. Please. Go to the nearest Cracker Barrel. And don't look back. Good luck to you if you go to Pucket's. You've been... This is a restaurant in an old piggly wiggly grocery store with cement floors and wooden shelves and pictures and tin signs all over the wall. We ate on an old retro table that may have been in someone's wash room. Love it. I had the bourbon glazed chicken , turnip greens(best I've ever had. Seasoned JUST right), sweet potatoes... More

Just searched this place on TripAdvisor to write a review and anticipating I'd be the first person to review this down-home place in central Tennessee. And what do I see??? A bazillion reviewers got there before me! More to the point, they all had the same experience -- no wonder the place was crowded when we arrived before 5pm on... More

Whenever we visit our daughter in Nashville, we go to Puckett's. The food is always amazingly good, and properly portioned. We usually order a number of entrees and share them family-style, to make sure we each get to sample as many different things as possible. I'm not a huge dessert eater, but I never miss it here. The cobbler is... More

I would recommend Puckett's for a glimpse into southern cuisine and lifestyle with a sweet tea and chicken fried chicken. We arrived midweek slightly before the lunch hour and watched the downtown crowd file in for business lunches. If you are interested in breakfast make sure you are there before 11 am. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. This... More

As you can imagine, a place with such charm had about a 30 minute wait, but we were able to snag a table outside and get seated immediately. Menu selection was great. They offered a Buffet that day, but it just had basic 'hotel type' items on there so we opted for Menu Service. I had the Mexican Burrito and... More

The food was amazing. We went for brunch two days in a row. Mimosas the first day, and Bloodies the 2nd! The service the first day was terrific, however the service we had the 2nd day was horrendous. If we received the poor service on the 1st day, we probably would not have gone back. Overall, excellent food!

Thier breakfast offerings, specifically the King's French Toast and the Redneck eggs Benedict are fantastic. Other standards, like fried chicken and burgers in my experience are largely overpriced and overrated.
