Someone recommended this restaurant to us...and was so glad they did. The food was very good, the service was good, and you couldn't beat the price!
We've enjoyed Beef & Barrel on many occasions. The prices, portions, and quality of food are good. The inside is a bit dark and dated, but it doesn't deter us from going. It can be a little bit hard to find, but just ask a local......they'll know how to get you there!
We ate here over the weekend. They had prime rib on the menu but had sold out when we were there around 8:00 p.m. We instead ordered the cowboy ribeye and smothered steak. It was really good. Our waitress, Carolyn was awesome. I would go back again if in the area.
We dined here when they first opened and were not pleased at all. We tried again, thinking it was an off night. Nope. Didn't go back for several years. We took some of our out-of-town friends here for dinner, as we knew we would have good service and good food. We were there early, and found that they have "Early Bird Special's" each day between 3 and 5 pm. There are about 10 choices and all of them include: soup or salad, bread, beverage and ice cream for only... More
The prime rib special included a drink; salad; potato; ad dessert for $10. The prime rib was as good or better than prime rib costing three times as much. The service was prompt accurate.
This place is nothing to look at from the outside, but the food makes it well worth the stop. My wife loves the onion crusted tilapia with citrus glaze and I usually get the prime rib, but the daily specials are often tempting and very good. The roasted red potatoes are so much better then the traditional baked potato. The... More
