Allelia is a beautiful restaurant near the corner of Main and Market. The food is delicious, mostly Italian. Service isn't up to the standard of the food and atmosphere.

We had a party of eight with reservation for 8:30. We were promptly seated and drink and appetizer orders taken. Not a large alcohol menu but wine list is good. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates as our appetizer and they were excellent, about 5 on the plate. We all pretty much ordered different entrees so we could sample. The... More

Indeed, the atmosphere is romantic and gives "good vibes." Also, the restaurant looks beautiful and artistic. With that said, there are NO OTHER POSITIVE things about this place. Here are all the AWFUL things I can say: 1) The service was substandard, especially for such well-versed, nicely dressed servers. Every step of the process was slower than it should be... More

I've always left this restaurant happy and satisfied. The food comes out piping hot and fresh from the kitchen. My favorite dish is the pappardelle with veal shank. My husband basically licked his plate clean!! The service is also superb, and the waitress was very knowledgable about the food and wine menu and happily helped us pick out a wine... More

The restruant has some character, with some management there may be hope, however; We started in the bar with an 18 minute wait for a drink and the waiter provided a flashlight because the bar was so dark. We then waited another 15 minutes for a check. Dinner was more wait, no drinks, finally a drink order, finally a food... More

We ate a wonderful dinner at Alleia on our anniversary visit to Chattanooga. It was a bit obscure on the outside, due to the minimalistic sign, which portrays an artsy A. I was glad I had perused the website ahead of time and knew what vicinity it was in! The atmosphere inside is phenomenal. It really takes your breath away.... More

We sat in the bar and had perfect service from the bartender - how he took care of all his table customers AND the bar customers I don't know. He was knowledgable about the wine list and menu options, and we never waited for refills, condiments, etc. Cocktails were great. Food was outstanding. Lasagna was the best I have ever... More

Great food experience with a knowledgeable wait staff. Excellent fresh true Italian food that is picked fresh everyday by the chefs. I had the wood-fire lasagna that was to die for, not to mention all their pasta they make from scratch. In addition, they only have a small freezer as opposed to most restaurants having huge walk-in freezers, where they... More

The decor is warm and rich, and the price isn't bad either. In a nutshell, I would say that Alleia has food just as delicious as its sister restaurant - St. John's - with a more affordable price tag. Alright, it's still on the higher-end, and the service wasn't as high of caliber, but I would highly recommend this place... More
