Only a few blocks walk from our B&B attracted us, but we probably will give it a miss next time we are in Dillon. The food was ok, huge portions - for me two huge chicken breasts on a mountain of spaghetti - but not imaginative. Even though it is attached to a tavern, wine is only available by the... More

My husband and I went to Kintyre house for the first time a few weeks ago... The food was wonderful. The staff was great. And the overall experience was something that you should have every time you go out to eat... We really enjoyed ourselves and you could tell all of the food was fresh, homemade, and made with care...... More

One of my husband and my favorite things to do while traveling, is to eat at a local restaurant - but NOT a chain. I like to read the reviews of others on Tripadvisor and then venture out! Kintyre House was delightful. The staff was excellent and friendly. The atmosphere was really cool with high wood ceilings, interesting brick walls,... More

This is a great place to sit down with friends, relax, eat, drink a beer, and listen to some music. You get to relax in a friendly zone here that has a nice staff. Enjoy it everytime I go.

This is the home location of the Federal reserve Chairman. This was the location of Jay Bee's Drug store when Ben lived and worked at this store with his family. The restaurant is one of the most upscale in Dillon. The food is great and dining there is a good experience. Our family meets there quite often. The prices are... More

Nice atmosphere, but the food was very generic. I asked for ranch dressing and got kraft. Had the club sandwich and it was ok, but fairly forgettable.

This used to be a great little restaurant, but like so much of Dillon, it's slipped backwards. The food for the most part remains OK but nothing special. Service and choices have been cut back over time. No longer someplace we look forward to taking friends.

My husband and I were on our way to Hilton Head, SC and decided to stop in Dillon for lunch. Once we made our way to Main Street, we spotted the Kintyre House and found it open for lunch. A friendly waitress seated us in the nearly empty dining room. She handed us a couple of paper menus. I decided... More

The history behind the restaurant was interesting. The food was just average and the service was slow. They didn't have enough wait staff. They were friendly and we enjoyed talking with them.
