Busy on a Friday evening. Good tempura shrimp. REALLY good shrimp won-tons in chili sauce. Nice maki rolls. Good selection of hot teas. Good servers, attentive host.
Our last night in Columbia before our move and we decided to grab some food at Miyo's. When we walked in things seemed fine but I needed to use the facilities and found the bathroom completely filthy plus no soap available to wash my hands. When I asked the hostess about the situation she had no idea and didn't think... More
Miyo's has several locations around Columbia and all of them are delicious. Try the one in the Vista as it is surrounded by some good bars to visit as well. Be sure to try the green tea! My favorite is the Singapore Noodles and Chicken and Cashews.
I've eaten at several different Miyo's restaurants and they are all excellent! The menus appear to vary somewhat but you could pick an item blindfolded and not get a dud! Yummy!
We went there twice in the past month. The food was good, but the first time my wife got sick about 5 hours after eating there. She was sick all night. Now we went again last Friday. This time I got sick a few hours after dinner. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. We will not go there again.
I only tried the sushi and the gyoza. The server only knew the gyoza as "pot stickers"; no big deal, but they were excellent. Everything after that was extremely bland. I would probably not go back.
Miyo's on Main is our favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Having lived and traveled in the Orient, I am not easily satisfied with "American/Chinese" restaurants. Miyo's consistently meets even my high expectations! At Miyo's on Main food is always cooked to order, with lots of choices, good service, and reasonable prices. There is lots of variety in the menu. The... More
I went to Miyo’s on Main street for lunch with 3 of my colleague. Out of our party of four, two were satisfied with their meal, the other two were not. This was very disappointing, since I have eaten at other Miyo’s, and was the one to recommend we come here. My meal started well with the Sesame Noodle Salad,... More
I've eaten at Miyo's many times, and I've also been to a couple of their other locations around Columbia. Miyo's on Main Street is hands down the worst. The food is good, but overpriced; I think they're expecting you to pay a bit extra for the atmosphere, but to be honest it's not really that nice of a restaurant. It's... More
