I cannot think of another place on the planet that I would rather have dessert! I have never had dessert anywhere else that was better. The tollhouse pie is exceptional.

Chocolate martinis and peanut butter cheesecake - how can you beat that combination? Was fabulous! I wish we would have had time to come back here and try more. Definite MUST for Charleston. Lively at night but small space so hard to get a table. Fantastic service!

The bartenders at Kaminsky's couldn't be nicer. They're helpful and attentive. The dessert drinks are pretty creative and absolutely delicious (try Thin Mint or Key Lime Pie). The puzzling part is how a place known around town as "THE dessert place" serves such substandard desserts. We went there twice during our trip and both times the desserts were borderline inedible....

Ordered the "almond joy" chocolate cake, and it was just ok -- frosting was hard as a rock, but the cake was moist ... Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? Service was excellent, though, as 2 different servers asked what I thought of it.

If you have a sweet tooth, this place is a great little spot! They have tons of desserts and drinks to choose from and although we didn't try everything, what we did was amazing. Tried the cappuccino milkshakes and got chocolate cake to go for later. Yum! This is a great little dive if you are looking for a break...

It's so hard to choose what dessert to try. They all look divine and they all were. You can't go wrong. My fav was the snickerdoole cake.

This place is well known-often have to wait in line outside to get in to this dessert cafe. They also have takeout if you don't want to wait for a seat. We had wonderful coconut cream pie. I had a minty hot chocolate concoction and my husband had a glass of port. They have a large selection of after dinner...

We love going to Kaminsky's after any activity in Charleston. The desserts are amazing. The atmosphere and overall experience are worth the wait any time.
