Small bustling restaurant with savvy waiters. A good mix of romantic diners and large tables of friends and family.
We went to Fulton Five our first night in Charleston. From the outside it appeared very charming and the food was excellent. My husband had a special, black groups which was top, rate. I had a salad and mussels. Could not have been better. And the bread was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Not as formal as the charleston... More
While the food is good, there are many reasons to avoid going to this restaurant. Please don't go to Fulton Five. We had reservations at 6 PM, but due to traffic we were late. We called to notify the restaurant and the receptionist assured us that being 20 minutes late was okay to keep our reserved table. When we arrived,... More
One of the finest places to celebrate! The food and service are off the scale! Celebrated a birthday here and it is one of the most romantic delicious places in Charleston! Go!
We always jump at the opportunity to sample rabbit when we see it on the menu, even if we arrive at a dive ! I am now sure what else is on the menu at Fulton Five, but that rabbit ! Smothered in a pool of succulent gravy, hot and fragrant, served with plenty of good bread--ah ! This is... More
One of our best dining experiences ever!!! From the professional and friendly staff when you enter to the crusty hit bread served before your meal, to the incredible menu and nightly specials, to the "worth-the-calories" desserts - it was all a great evening! Tips: 2010 Chianti, Rocca di Castagnoli, Gamberetti e Tagliatelle, Ravioli di Maiale and any of the desserts!... More
We were in Charleston for our 25th anniversary. We were foolish enough to come to Fulton 5 only moderately hungry. Too bad, because the food was excellent. The smaller portion of Gamberetti i Tagliatelle (shrimp and pasta) was outstanding and just the perfect portion. My husband ordered the shortribs and they were perfect as well. This intimate restaurant is hidden... More
We dined at several top restaurants during our visit to Charleston and Fulton Five was our favorite, hands down. The bruschetta was a delightful blend of flavors that melted in your mouth and the scallops and shrimp that we ordered for our entrée were equally delicious. Several dining options allow you to order smaller portions which is greatly appreciated for... More
we loved our butternut squash soup and the pastas were all delicious (we shared them all). Cleaned out plates. The place is a little noisy but intimate. the wait staff was great.
The food and service here are outstanding. Although it's billed as Italian food, there are plenty of other options too. We went with a group of 6, and everyone was thrilled with their appetizers and entrees. If you can get in, you won't be disappointed! The only minor flaw I could see is that I would have expected a few... More
