Stopped in a month ago and was mind blown by the food. It was amazing! I had the Veal Oscar, which was to die for. I never order pasta out because that should only be eaten at home, what's the use of going out to a nice place to order pasta? Go big or go home! -warm/friendly staff. Very helpful... More

My wife and I ate there on the recommodation of the hotel we stayed at on our way through the area. We were supposed to have a 10% discount by showing our room key, but they didn't honor it for what we ordered. The was a tackey insert in the menue, which stated that there is a $1.50 surcharge when... More

Renee and Louie were great. Started with portabello romano that was battered in a francese breading lightly fried and fresh red peppers was extraordinarily fresh. Veal marsala was cooked perfectly with a velvety sauce. Creme brulle was spectacular, Cannoli... Louie must have some Italian in him... I forgot to ask! Our yeah, the triple chocolate cake was perfectly balanced between... More

Stop in La Tavola every chance we get. This is an excellent restaurant in a warm atmosphere. Brings back memories of my many trips to Italy. The Chef and I talk often about Italy, since he was born and raised in Italy. Wonderful, wonderful restaurant! Would recommend to everyone! Nick M. .

I go out of my way on every trip from Harrisburg to stop off the PA turnpike to dine at this hidden gem. The food is exceptional and the service, espically in the bar, is welcoming and like walking back into a reunion. I have had a tasting of the whole menu but recommend the seafood pasta rosa everytime. The... More

Good food, good service but the chef, who a neighborhing tables refered to as the "cook" visited every table in the place (repeatedly) but mine. And only three tables were eating in the mostly empty din ing room. I was entertaining clients and it was painful to dine there and be snubbed the eintire night. No thanks.

We stopped at this restaurant on a Wednesday night based on previous strong reviews. However, we were not impressed. We had the spaghetti, the ravioli and the lasagna. The spaghetti was fine but not exciting. The ravioli were straight from the freezer. The lasagna was cold in the middle—clearly a re-heat. The staff was friendly, but not particularly attentive. Prices... More

We've tried the Italian restaurants at many of the other exits near Pittsburgh, and they just don't compare. The veal Marsala was delicious, and so tender that I cut it with my knife. The wine list has both American and Italian wines at reasonable prices. We'll return soon!
