It's always a pleasure to return to a restaurant and discover there has been no change. That it is the same pleasant old fashioned place it was time and time before. You may guess this is a great place to eat, friendly, young staff, decorations from years ago. The menu stays the same. If you are looking for treats from... More

If you're looking for something a step above diner food, this is for you. It's homemade, but with a smattering of creativity thrown it. The ambience is pleasant, you won't feel rushed, and it's a wonderful place to linger over a second cup of tea.

Nice alternative breakfast options that are above average in taste. Small restaurant with outdoor seating and good service.

The food here is always good. The servers can be dismissive..Would give it five stars if their service was better.

We live nearby and frequently stop in to Sinclair's for breakfast during the weekend. First, the coffee is great. You can buy bags of it to take home. Second, the breakfast selections include all of the normal items, however the French Toast is definitely tasty. Nice laid-back atmosphere with cool local artwork for sale on the walls.

Ate here for lunch on a Friday afternoon, and I must say that the quality of freshness impresses me. What we ate: Spicy turkey chili: When they say spicy, they mean it. Some establishments label a dish a spicy, and it ends up being more bland than cardboard. Sinclairs did a great job of making this chili spicy and fresh.... More

Some good breakfast choices. Polenta is a plus. Prices a bit high. Coffee is routinely bad. Service is often forgetful: no check, no menu, oops, forgot your toast. Yet, you can get a good sandwhich or breakfast. Just keep on your toes. Management needs a wke up call.

Sunrise, as its name implies, serves food appropriate for breakfast and lunch. It is a small store front restaurant, decorated in 1950s style with original “of the period” tables, chairs, serving ware, and decorations, with mostly 1950s background music piped in as well—hard to believe, but in a couple of years 1950’s stuff will cross over the line to become... Basic, adequately prepared breakfast. Service was very slow and inattentive. I waited forever for my coffee, then waited another 20 minutes for a refill. Not worth the effort to find it.

I love this restaurant. Excellent local food and cooked just right. I also love the casual atmosphere, as I am a casual gal. Whenever I am in the area I eat at this restaurant as often as possible. It is also very close to my favorite museum, the Brandywine River Museum.
