Eaten here a bunch of times. Great when you need to eat in a hurry or want to bring home some fresh baked goods. Prices are very very reasonable. Several large tables to sit down. No public restrooms though, which isn't right for a place serving food. Baked items are tasty. Coffee is not so great. They could easily improve... More

If you are looking for a fast-food chain along Route 903 between Jim Thorpe and Blakeslee, forget about it! Try instead this gem of a local eatery where you can get fresh sandwiches, soup, pizza or baked goods for breakfast or lunch, to eat in or take out. Don't be fooled by the name of this establishment. "Alpine Bakery" is... More

The special cake that we ordered was delicious. The aroma of fresh baked goods is enticing and meets expectations.

My mother insists upon going there several times whenever we come to the area. For good reason. Their baked goods are great. They now sell deli meat, which is really convenient. We don't have to drive down to Jim Thorpe if we need meat. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good and I can't wait to try their subs. Oh, and... More

I was recommended to this bakery by a friend and have definitely not been disappointed. Initially I assumed it was just a bakery but to my pleasant surprise I've found that their sandwiches are equally as tasty as their unique selection of baked goods. Another surprise was how reasonably priced their food is for a tourist area. With a few... More

Besides the quality of the baked goods, the awesome staff just seals the deal. Nicest people you ever want to meet, and as helpful as can be. Try the Irish soda bread, best I have had west of Ireland

I have a vacation home in the area and can't tell you how happy I was when I discovered the Alpine Bakery. Their food is yummy, the service is always friendly, and though I usually get my orders to go, if you choose to eat there, the dining space is clean and pleasant. I recommend this place to all of... The Alpine bakery is one of those little gems one stumbles upon while traveling through a small town. Once inside you are greeted by happy people who act like they've known you for years or you are part of the family and you came home for a visit! The pretzel pockets are amazing and you will find every imaginable pastry... More

Great ingredients, attention to detail and a friendly staff make this place a standout. We ordered breakfast, a few donuts and bought breads for the trip home. Every item we ordered was delicious. The one minor blemish on an otherwise perfect morning was the lack of restrooms. Otherwise, this is an amazing place.
