A historic old mill with lots of cozy charm, a nice selection of microbrews on tap, and a great meatloaf sandwich made for a welcome respite on a drive home on a rainy day. Check the calendar for live entertainment.

Had not been to the Mill for some time, but had a visiting friend from out west and he wanted to se the inside of the building, so we took him to the mill for some music, dinner, and "beer" as he is a craft beer lover. The room is nice, the music was good, the food was OK, and...

This restaurant is in an old mill and has lots of ambiance. Lots of exposed stone and beams. They produce their own beer--the IPA I had was really good. Nice service, good american food! Would definitely go back again!
I have eaten at Gamble Mill on several previous occasions. Always excellent. Great atmosphere and most of the reviews are spot on. Graduation weekend is a different story though. I had a large group and the service was very slow and it was obvious our server did not enjoy working that day. It's difficult to be forced to tip over...

My husband and I came here for drinks and appetizers. We ordered the chips, lamb sliders, crab cake and crawfish mac and cheese. Every dish was simply amazing. I especially loved the mac and cheese! It was so good we came back the next day for lunch, you must try the seafood strudel and Hungarian mushroom soup. The only thing...

I went here with family on a Sunday. A few of us love beer (two of which make beer) so it was disappointing when at the start of business on Sunday they were out of their Raspberry Wheat. I ordered their Doppel Bock and it was tasty enough but I had my heart set on the RW since my wife...

Having been a business traveler for most of my career I seldom get too enthusiastic about yet another great place to eat. I ended up having a true experience here. The place was not crowded but we ended up eating at the bar because it was the most lively place. We ended up having a great chat with some local...

The Mill is finally hitting its stride. They built a bar in the large upstairs room, added a stage and now host music on the weekends and an open mic night. Menu has been changed, more veggie options and everything we had was good. The Pig Iron IPA is very tasty as well, Enjoyed the music from Biscuit Jam last...

...[but] for the totally insipid, disinterested attitude and demeanor of our waitperson, I'd have given this 5-stars. If you go during the lunch hour, you'll see what I mean as she was the only waitperson on duty. In fairness, she got the order correct and was there to fill the drink glasses, but it was like she was disconnected. Maybe...

Fabulous little micro brewery and truly excellent food. Recommend reservations on Friday nights. Excellent service at this surprising gem in the heart of Bellefonte. Converted mill has plenty of charm, and the brews are all quite good - and yes, I sampled them all! :-)
