This place has good bread (over priced good bread) but you better call to see what they have. Pastries are mediocre. They are notoriously understocked and the selection (when they are stocked) is never consistent. There is no set menu....so you're never sure what you're going to have for lunch. Espresso drinks are standard. Seating is very crowded. Overall I'd... More

I love the baked "goodies" especially those using fresh fruit! A small intimate place with local color and friendly owner/baker & long-time resident who will seek to answer your questions with the honesty & integrity that she is know for!

We stopped by right before closing one day for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find this little bakery a little off the beaten path. We ordered a couple of sandwiches off the chalkboard menu and some lemon sugar cookies that were wonderful. The sandwiches were served hot on homemade bread. The menu that day also offered a... More

We stopped in to get some bread. The Rye was recommended to us. It was a small loaf that weighed alot for it's small size. It was dense and delicious. I'm not sure what all the flavors were but did see a little citrus rind inside. We sliced it thin and had it with cheese and salami. It was soooooo... More

This small coffee and bakery shop is not far off the coast trail and adjacent to the Yachats Community Park. The staff appreciated our visit and the eclectic building and setting was fun to visit. The coffee was the real thing.

Locally owned and operated by an experienced baker and cook, B & R provides quality food at a decent price. Blythe tries to use fresh, locally sourced organic / natural food ingredients where possible, and cooks all her tasty treats from scratch. Like Heidi, but in a different cuisine genre, Blythe makes excellent and well-prepared foods, mainly soups, sandwiches, and... More

We were expecting more original bakery items, but received store-bought product. Oh well, the taste was good, people were friendly.

So, I believe in living your beliefs, but not making others feel uncomfortable when you're doing business. My wife, child and I waited for a good 10 minutes while the owner/baker pontificated with a local (I presume) about political, social and other matters. Why we even waited I can't tell you, except we both love good bread. The bread was... More

If the Green Salmon us too crowded, this is a nearby bakery that will di well to get you satisfied. Not quite the selection of coffee or teas but ok. Little too "womens liberial" for me but pastries are decent.

We stopped by on a Friday morning in early August 2012. Their location was hard to find, as they are located a few doors down off the main street. Inside, the aromas were great but the choices were few, and everything seemed overpriced. The one loaf of bread available was a plain white or whole wheat loaf at $7.50. On... More
