I am told this was the best place to eat in Seaside. I found it average although I enjoyed the crabcakes I ordered because they were cooked and plated appealingly. However, the server seemed a bit preoccupied because we were given the wrong bill at the end of the meal and in my estimation never got a good read of... More

While the place had a great view of ocean it was still missing atmosphere inside. The food was average and was quite expensive. The service is average , I am not sure if I would go again, maybe for happy hour outside.

Our last three visits to Maggie's have been great. The food has returned to its prior exceptional standards and the ambience is great.

Our second dinner at Maggie's. Every part of dinner was excellent: $15 crab cakes full of crab, $28 Halibut cooked just right and plentiful; $24 seafood linguini (4 v large shrimp, 2 scallops, sauce excellent, needs appetizer), entrees w. soup or salad. Most tables with an oceanfront view. Tables nicely spaced. Large FP in view of most tables. High ceilings,... More

We went to Maggie's for lunch. My partner had the soup of the day + salad; I had the halibut sandwich with salad. Pros: Lovely dining room overlooking the prom[enade] and the ocean. Salad greens were ultra-fresh and flavorful. Halibut, while breaded, was breaded very very lightly and was not greasy and let the flavor of the fish shine through.... More

Was there beginning of March with my sister's to celebrate a birthday. Maggies was next to our lodging so very convenient and looked like a good place to eat. It is right on the Promenade with views of beach grass, ocean and headland. Very nice upscale decor. One nice size room with booths and tables. A large stone fireplace with... More

We have been eating here through different chefs for nearly 8 years. We have dined for breakfast lunch and dinner and never disappointed!! To start- lovely decor view and excellent service. Very fresh with lots of local ingredients. During our last stay we donned for dinner and lunch. We had the most amazing soups- could have licked the bowl. Dinners... More

I like this restaurant because it is right on the Prom - which means diners can walk from town or from the beach and have a delicious meal. The service is very good and the prices are reasonable. Some tables are situated such that diners can watch the ocean - and there are limited outdoor spaces to eat.

My husband planned a birthday dinner at Maggie's. We showed up and immediately heard "ah we were so close," meaning they could have closed because there were no customers (it was 6:45). We sat down and it took 15 minutes to get drinks and another 15 to order. Then after I placed my order (for the crab cakes, which was... More
