Service with a smile and dependable noodle soups, noodle bowls (ask which are cold salads and which are warm). The lemongrass beef vermicelli is delicious. Stir-fried noodles are good here, as is the clay pot fish. Order to share, and they'll bring extra plates/bowls. The decor isn't fancy, but it's the food that matters!

They have done a nice remodel since my last visit. Nice commercial carpet and spruced up the interior. Unfortunately both items I ordered were sorely lacking. First I had Shrimp Salad Rolls with Peanut Sauce. The Rice Paper was rubbery and there was old tasting Pork in the roll which counterbalanced the Shrimp flavor in a most disconcerting way. Then... Wife and I haven't had Vietnamese cuisine before coming to this place. Wow, have we been missing out! After flying in from California and visiting some local wineries, we wanted to try this place out from all the good reviews from this site. Pretty much spot on with all the other great reviews. Not a fancy place, but everything else... More

This restaurant isn't fancy. Which is just fine with me. We went here on a Wednesday night, after my husband's business trip. Now I know why it's rated #3 for restaurants in Salem. It reminded me a lot of the Pho Hoa and Huong restaurant in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Fantastic pho! Both my husband and I had it. The jalapenos... More

Delicious and cheap, just like the Old Quarter. We split the Bun Cha Ha Noi...brought me back to my recent trip to Vietnam. The pork was charred to perfection, with fresh and pungent herbs and delicate sauce. The pho was subtle and flavorful with ample condiments. I do wish the beef were more rare, but it was still delicious, and... More

After thoroughly enjoying a lunch at Kim Huong – excellent Pho filled with tender beef and a noodle dish with exceptional BBQ pork and eggrolls, I left my phone and watch on the table. Sheesh. Sometime later I figured that I had left them at the restaurant and gave them a call. They graciously put them in a new padded... More

Been going here for years, it is very good and right next door to a Vietnamese grocery store. The food is teriffic, the staff is nice and it is pretty authentic. NOTHING fancy, just good quality Pho.

Hands down, Kim Huong is our most favorite Vietnamese restaurant. You will be hard pressed to find anyone who makes a better pho or bun. We have only found a few that are equal and these are over an hours drive away. Both the beef and chicken broths they make for their soup is very flavorful. Your pho comes with... More

I love the food here. They told me that they "do" Ho Chi Minh (southern Vietnamese) cuisine as opposed to central (Hoi An) or Northern (Hanoi) cuisine and it is deeeelicious. I don't care how much MSG or sugar they put in there (do they use MSG?). Green papaya salad, lemongrass chicken, ANY of their phos. YUM.

I've been to every Vietnamese restaurant in Salem except for Super Pho and Kim Huong is definitely the most authentic. The food is on par with quality street food in Vietnam, without the food poisoning. The music is the same music you would here in Vietnam- synthesized versions of the Good, the Bad & the Ugly, etc.. The decor is totally... More
