We were in Portland for a few days and this was definitely the nicest restaurant we ate at. The seafood was great as were the stuffed peppers. Highly recommend the caipirinha as well. Servers were very prompt and knowledgeable about the menu.

I have had much better food in Portland than here. Just ok in all aspects. Atmosphere was ok. Food not horrible just not fantastic. Doesn't really deserve the #1 spot.
I always read the few “terrible” reviews (if any) for the top rated in any category to get a feel of what that person didn’t like. When it comes to Andina, I couldn’t disagree more with the few negative reviewers. First of all the staff of bartenders and servers are outstanding, they are friendly and informed. “Gina” was our server...

We made reservations for Happy Hour and the service was great .We ordered from the bar menu the empanadas De Carne and Conchas A LaParmesan( scallopes). We enjoyed them very much . I had the Margarita De manzaneta and my cousin had the Mojito they were the best. Its a great place for "Happy Hour".
We had dinner here on our last night in Portland and were looking forward to it very much as we had heard this was the place to come to, and because we have been frequent visitors to Peru over the years so we were curious. Perhaps our expectations were too high as well. The food was good but quite frankly...

I came here upon the recommendation of a few friends who said it was THE place to go in Portland. Perhaps my expectations were too high but I found the food to be ok. Don't get me wrong the food tasted fine but I am a bit puzzled about all the buzz. The empanadas were delicious but the quinoa salad...

Food is plentiful and delicious. A nice variety and something new to try with each trip.
Service is great even when busy - a lady even come up after the meal and thanked us - she must've been the owner?!
Atmosphere is perfect too, but the live music in the bar can be a little too much - that said...

We chose Andina based solely on the Trip Advisor review. We had never been to a Peruvian restaurant before and admittedly I am a picky eater and had some concerns about this unknown cuisine. The experience was nothing short of incredible and was one of the best meals of my life. The ambiance was wonderful and the staff friendly, knowledgable...

First off, the bread. Not average at all. Bad. Supermarket discount bad.
I ordered the most expensive tuna appetizer, billed as sashimi-quality. You might slice fish thinner, but you'd REALLY have to try. And then you'd have to empty the contents of a small vat of thick sauce on it.
What's the point of fresh fish if you're going completely...

Exquisite food in a relaxed and beautiful setting. One of my top choices when I want to indulge in a real splurge. Both lunch and dinner here are superb. One piece of advice...if you really want a quieter dining experience, book enough ahead to ensur a table in the dining room instead of the bar. The bar scene is great,...
