The food was not quite what we are used to, but the appetizers we had were really tasty (although a bit on the small side). They have some good deals for happy hour.

It's a bit out of the way, being a few blocks from the main drag, but easily reachable on foot. The food is very nicely prepared and creative. Very happy with our meal overall. Service is very good. Professional and courteous. It's a little slow, but we're not really in a rush. If you want a relaxed meal with excellent... More

I was in Portland for business recently, and I had lunch at Hotel Fifty's restaurant, H50. Frankly, this was one of the best burgers I have ever had, made just as I ordered it and topped with sharp Tillamook cheddar cheese. My friends enjoyed their entrees, too. The hotel is a great find, as well, and it's good to know... More

Got a sweet deal on Living Social for a Prix Fixe dinner that knocked my socks off. Started with a Beet Carpaccio, followed by Pepper Steak and finished with Creme Brule. The serving sizes were just right - enough to know you ate it but leaving a bit of room for each next course. The flavors were amazing and the... More

Loved this place!! We ate here on a groupon that we received in conjuction with the purchase of the hotel, but I would totally come to this spot just for the food! Everything was super fresh and high quality, but reflected a very reasonable price point (about $10 for breakfast). The coffee was amazing and flavorful, and came with free... More

Love the view and the service was attentive but not overbearing. The food was yummy with some of the dishes being a bit saltier that what I would normally have. Beet and beef carpaccio was a nice contrast with the blue cheese and the peppercorn steak was delicious and the potato coquette was just divine. Creme brulee was better than... More

we first began with an omission lager and a minty mule cocktail. both were excellent. next, we had the omelette with asparagus, and a small mixed salad. loved that they had a salad with the omelette.my partner had the risotto with foraged mushrooms. both were excellent. for dessert, we split the creme brulee with fresh fruit on top. again, excellent.... Had some perks in Portland vouchers to use. Bar virtually empty and therefore no atmosphere. Ordered the veggie dish. Wild mushroom risotto which took am age to come but was worth it. Some bread or bar nuts to hide the wait would have been good. Wouldn't go back as it felt just like a hotel restaurant, which I guess it... More

Great view of the river and nice atmosphere. The waiters are friendly. However, we were disappointed in the food. Good presentation but not so good flavor. The hamburger my wife had was chewy. Very surprising for a restaurant of this quality.

Good menu great service. The H5O bistro & bar offers a comfortable, urban contemporary vibe. I would definetly visit if you are staying at Hotel Fifty.
