If you want to sample the wares of one of Oregon's premier micro breweries, Hood River is the place to do it. The dining area overlooks the Columbia River and offers a great pub atmosphere. Even tho I only had the lunch special- a BLT and roaster garlic/artichoke soup, it was delectable. The menu looked great and I will go... More

Hiked to McCall Point with my brother on a recent afternoon. I've long enjoyed Full Sail beers, but never been to the brewery, so I prevailed upon him to stop for dinner. I started with a Belma Single Hop Pale Ale to wash down the dust. It's good to see Northwest brewers experimenting w/new hop varieties. Clean, crisp and a... More

Salmon fish and chips greasy and more breading than fish. Crowded and crammed tables so close you could hear the conversations all around you. Will not eat there again.

The tour was informative. The food was even better. We had the rigatoni, fish and chips. Brownie was awesome for dessert. They have a patio place overlooking the river and highway. The bathroom was very clean. Worth a stop even if you're not a beer guy . I will definitely comeback.

While visiting a friend in Portland, he suggested that we stop here for lunch while taking a road trip around the area. It's casual, with a wide range of diners, and service is friendly. My friend knew the beers there and opted for a particular porter, but I stuck to water. When it came to food, though, as I ate... More

Stopped by this brewery for an appetizer and a beer after the long drive to Hood River. Hubby tried a couple of the darker ales, and I tried the Sail Ale, a slightly less-alcoholic, but still hoppy and flavorful light ale. We got an order of the garlic and herb fries and shared them. It was getting busy, but we... More

While visiting the area on a short wine tasting trek I stopped at Full Sail in Hood River. I arrived in the afternoon and there was no waiting. The restaurant's comfortable with a nice view to the north. I started with a sampler of seven beers conveniently ordered from mild and light to more bitter. Let me say it was... More

We went on the 3:00 Brewery tour, our group was small 7 total. It was nice for the history, equipment and production. The tour was about 30minlong. It was on a Sat so none of the production line was running. The tour guide told us when the plant is running it is loud and people are offered ear plugs. After the... More

I was at an APWA Conference this past week in Hood River. I had dinner at Full Sail with my boss. Not only was the beer great, but the Rueben Sandwich and the views of the Columbia River were nice. It wasn't quite windsurfer weather, so not many people on the river, nevertheless, great views. I recommend getting a table... More
