We had a taco salad and a tuna chef salad and both were very tasty and a good value. Nice wait staff.

Very cute place, family oriented, train display also has one running along ceiling. Good prices, diner type menu, friendly staff.

A regular stop for us between Boise and Seattle. Fun for grandkids. Just stay away from any Mexican-style soups--we didn't once and regretted it in the worst way. Otherwise, we stop by often and enjoy their locally-traditional fare.

Stopped for breakfast and was not disappointed. The cinnamon roll french toast was really tasty, and the taco omelet delish! Servings were generous, prices decent. The train will entertain the little ones.

A typical side-of-the-road diner with a twist. There's a model train that winds its way through the restaurant, sometimes overhead and sometimes right next to the booth. That was an interesting touch, and I enjoyed watching it go by. What amazed me was that the scenery on the wall next to the train looked like it was hand-painted. Whoever did... More

The food and costs were average, but it's great for the kids. Several model trains circumnavigate the dining area and traverse different model landscapes. It is also right off the interstate.

There are not many places to eat on the Summpter road , so this is a welcome stop. Eat while you can! Food was just OK.

Old school food - hot and tasty. Typical diner food that was well done. The little train going around the restaurant was pretty cool and kept the younger diners amused and well behaved.

The guy at the hotel recommended this restaurant so I gave it a try. There wasn't much on the menu I wanted to eat or sparked an interest. I picked a ham and egg sandwich which is a choice I'm usually happy with. My first bite I thought it was gross, just a weird flavor. As I was way too... More

For a small town, Baker City has plenty of restaurant choices. Sumpter Junction Restaurant has a modest menu selection with average pricing. Kids (and train enthusiasts of all ages) really enjoy the model trains that run through the restaurant - even by your table if you pick the right booth. Coconut Shrimp dinner was filling with salad, potato choice, and... More
