I don't know what we were expecting, but this wasn't it. Tiny busy place with great hamburgers - really good. I has the fried onions on mine and they press the raw onions into the patty before throwing it on the grill - it was perfect and easier to eat! Onion rings were really good too. Staff was friendly, clientelle... More

Stopped by for my hamburger fix. It was juicy without being greasy. Just something about the burgers. Great photos of Waylon Jenning and Jessie Coulter hang on the wall. Food is great.

I have said before and I will say it again Dennis does the hamburger justice at Hank's. The meat is always fresh and the fries are great and tator tot's too. Singles, doubles, triples and they all are full of flavor and a meat eaters delight!! on historic "Route 66" this is the place your Grandpa would have taken your... More

Hank's has great burgers, fries and milkshakes. It's a small family owned place, diner atmosphere, prices are extremely reasonable. Sadly, it's located in a decling neighborhood and parking can be problamatic.

Hank's is the very definition of a Dive. It sits in an area that is kinda scary, even in the day, but man are those burgers good! Their double combo is legendary! The burger is juicy, tots crunchy, and the Dr Pepper there is so good. I try to get back to this place every chance I get.

Just have plenty of napkins at your table when you tie into it. It IS delish. I wake up at night dreaming about the taste... these guys FRY in the onions....it's making my mouth water right now. Atmosphere is a bit rough....they need about 4 big dozers to take down all the shanties and cess pool establishments surrounding it.

I tell you--you haven't had a hamburger until you've had HANKS--I went years ago, when a man name Paul use to flip those burgers, and it was quite a sight to see! But, the burgers are juicy, and THE BEST!

I have been going to Hanks since I was 5 years old. Even tho Hank and his wife are no longer with us, the current management have made sure that nothing has changed. Great food, great service.

Good old fashioned flat grilled burgers made the way you want it. Typical fried sides are all good. Many sizes up to huge. Not much seating and a little out of the way but worth it.
