Every single time I eat at an Abuelo's it is a great experience! I love Mexican food and for the price they can not be beat for their quality. The service at this location was on par with the Columbus location. I always order the large combination meal and can never eat it all. My favorite items are the queso... More

I try to find new and different places to eat for special occasions. Our 13th anniversary was coming up and this place came to mind. I saw it one day on my way to work at an office I am normally not at. I checked it out online because I didn’t want to end up at one of the local... More

Another visit to Abuelo's in Mason to enjoy top quality food, served in a very nice setting, served by great people! We both had the Lunch Enchiladas and found the quality to be very good, including the toppings [sour cream on the chicken and the beef had a nice red chile sauce. Fast and friendly service plus great ingredients make... More

I like giving the little guys kudos but the food here has such great flavor, you just can't ignore it. I like the open, sunny decor with the Mexican mural, the friendly staff, and the food is distinctive for Midwest Mexican. You get a new take on things like fish and I find the portions just about right.

We went on Sunday Lunch. Ambiance is very nice. Service was good and quick. Food was delicious. I would appreciate if they have more vegetarian options. But even thought with less options we enjoyed the food. Price Wise it is just right. I did not find it costly. We will go again.

The food is definitely more Tex-Mex here. And pretty standard. I got the standard fajitas, as I was pretty hungry. The bonus is here they don't charge for guacamole, and all the sides are separated, instead of piled on top of each other. The guac is a little sweeter here, which is weird, but good. I'm just not a fan.... More

Over the years, the quality of food (as well as portion size) has decreased. Still is an "ok" place, but not as great as it once was

No kidding; try the prime rib special on a wednesday night. It comes with a sweet corn tamale, and stuffed pablano pepper, and rice. The prime rib is rubbed with seasoning and grilled for a short time. The flavor is excellent. My criticism would be the beer selection. Most of it is on the lighter side and no micro brews.... More

Stopped here with some girlfriends for a drink and a bite to eat after the Western Southern Open tennis tournament was rained out for the night session. Restaurant design makes you feel like you're eating in a village courtyard. Four of us shared the fajitas for two with chicken, steak and shrimp as well as delicious cerveza Rita's which are... More
