Very pleasant food, great coffee and most importantly, nice and warm. Also, very child friendly. One of the picks for cafe food in Blackheath.

Just on the two hour mark driving out from Sydney, the Wattle Cafe is the perfect place to stop! Our little group stopped on the way too and back from Orange, so we tried lots of different things.
Baked good such as cheese cake and muffins are delicious. The fruit loaf with ricotta, banana, walnut and honey was huge and...

We stopped in at Blackheath on the way home from seeing the Autumn leaves in Mount Wilson. A very busy Easter Saturday with all establishments full.
We got an outside table and enjoyed good friendly and efficient service on a day when staff were under pressure. Would be pleasant on a quieter day
Larger tables were inside with buzzy lively...

We were warmly welcomed and soon were enjoying an excellent vegetarian breakfast...

Came here on recommendation from a friend. Did not disappoint. Service was bubbly and swift. Coffee is made from Morgan's beans and made very well. For a snack I tried the baby benedict (a half serve of eggs Benny). Egg was runny as it should be. Hollandaise wasn't overpowering. Food and coffee both very good. Staff were exceptionally enthusiastic and...

We missed breakfast, thank goodness there was a big brekkie option on the lunch menu. I had an awesome Club Sandwich.
Stopped at the Wattle Cafe for breakfast on our way to Jenolan CAves and had one of the best breakfasts I have had in a cafe. The waitress from the moment we walked in was friendly, efficient and knew what was on the menu right down to suggesting looking at the specials board as well as the normal menu. The...

Had a lovely lunch here with friends - menu has lots of options and prices quite reasonable. I had a roast vegetable turkish bread with pesto - lovely flavours. The club sandwich my friend had was huge. Coffee really good as well. Unfortunately couldn't find room for a piece of the amazing-looking cakes they offer. Will return again soon.
We often stop here for the good coffee, lunch and a piece of yummy cake (especially the Cerise Noir). I do wish they did not cut the bread and toast quite so thick.
